A virtual Technical Committee Meeting led by Eng. Jose Marie Lim, Water Quality Expert of the Study Team, was held via zoom application on 14 January 2021. The meeting focused on the details of the Improve Solid Waste Management as one of the Priority Measures of MBSDMP.
The discussions include strategies and list of action plans and PAPs under each action plans on how management of solid wastes will improve.
The meeting was attended by representatives from various agencies and organizations such as Deltares, Tractebel, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), EcoWaste Coalition, Metropolitan Wasterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), DENR-Mines and Geosciences Bureau (DENR-MGB), DA-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR), League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP), National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Government of the Netherlands, World Wildlife Fund Philippines (WWF-Ph), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Transportation (DOTr), DENR-River Basin Coordinating Office (DENR-RBCO), Public-Private Partnership Center (PPPC), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), National Transmission Corporation (NTC), DOT-Intramuros Administration (DOT-IA), University of the Philippines Los Banos Foundation, Inc.
