Stakeholders-Focused Meeting: Improve Solid Waste Management (ISWM)

The seventh and last stakeholder-focused online meeting, held 14 October 2020 and led by Engr. Jose Marie Lim, Water Quality Expert from Tractebel, discussed the Priority Measure ISWM.

PAPs discussed and validated were: Improve Waste Reduction and Segregation; Improve Collection, Recycling, and Recovery; Improved Residual Management; Sustain and Expand Coverage of Manila Bay Area Clean-Up Activities; and Improve Management of Off-Shore Solid Waste.

The meeting began at 1:00PM and ended at 2:35PM, with a total of 91 participants (47 female, 41 male), from MBSDMP PMO staff, OIDCI staff, NEDA, stakeholders from PPA, DENR-NCR, DENR-MBCO, DENR-RBCO, DENR-MGB, DPWH-NCR, DILG, PCG, DOE, DOH, MARINA, UPLB, DOST-PCIEERD, MMDA, NAMRIA, League of Cities, TIEZA, World Bank, Hagonoy, Bulacan, PG Enro Nueva Ecija, City Government of Muntinlupa, City Government of San Juan, Local Govt of Quezon City, Prov Govt of Bulacan, PhilEco, Balibago Waterworks, and the Netherlands Embassy.
