Tourism and Recreation Expert from OIDCI Dr. Miguela Mena, led the discussion for PRST, one of the Priority Measures, which covered the challenges to tourism imposed by the current condition of the Manila Bay. Projects discussed included Strengthen Responsible and Sustainable Local Tourism Planning, Improve Tourism Modalities in Manila Bay Area, and Development of Manila Bay Ecological Park and Eco-Museum, as well as their indicative costs.
The meeting was the third in a series of FGDs, held 7 October 2020, from 1:00PM-2:35PM, and was attended by 76 participants (37 females, 39 males) from MBSDMP PMO staff, OIDCI staff, NEDA, stakeholders from PPA (Philippine Ports Authority), PCG (Philippine Coast Guard), TIEZA, MBCO, MARINA, MWSS, MWCI, DENR-RBCO, DENR-NCR, Provincial Govt of Bulacan, City Govt of Muntinlupa, Local Govt of Quezon City, League of Cities, BOI, WWF Phil, NAMRIA, DOE, and DOT-IA.
